So the steps taken here could be used to transfer the domain settings to a different web hosting provider as well as another account. Remember there will be some down time so I would advise these steps be implemented when it's late or when you expect there to be low activity on your web site and the email accounts. The downtime will occur depending on whether you are transferring the domain to a new web hosting provider or whether you are transferring the domain to another web hosting account. If price is an issue then find a list of companies and compare their prices and features. You can find websites that do exactly that. Just search for the term "top web hosting providers". Also there are many companies offering a free domain with the hosting account. Make sure you learn all the companies offers and discounts.

The range of pricing and features included in web hosting packages are pretty wide. You will want a fair balance of features and quality that will suit your needs. As with any other product, cheap usually gets less quality. On the other hand some pricing can be exorbitant without any special value.

 

 

I recommend choosing a web host that offers chat support because this can help get your problems solved really fast when being compared to submitting a support ticket or waiting on the phone line for the support operator. HostGator, InMotion Hosting, BlueHost, Go Daddy, HostMonster and Arvixe Hosting are good examples of affordable providers that have good reputation and offer excellent features with a great support.

While you obviously want to save as much money as possible with your web hosting plan, remember that price does not always dictate the level of service you will receive. For example, if you find an unlimited plan for $19.95 per month, it may offer everything you need and more. If you find a plan that costs $400 per year, it might not have the same required memory and support that you received from the less expensive plan. In other words, price does not always determine the quality of the services you will get. Be wary of free hosting, however, as this is almost always advertisement driven and won't give you what you need.
